Project Objective:
Effectively and authentically communicate the unique characteristics of an animal in the form of a consistent graphic language
To avoid unrealistic representation of the animal, I started with preliminary research and sketch studies about the animal itself in order to understand its behavior and anatomical movement

Understanding why and how the animal moves led to figuring out the best way to capture the essence of the animal. I began with simple pencil sketches of outlines and graphic shapes before digital refinement.
